squeaky tennis balls

Meka needed new mini tennis balls so I got them from Target instead of Wal-Mart. Little did I know that they sqeak! Meka's thing is squeaky toys so now it's a challenge to get her to bring the ball back to me :)

Lazy Movie Day

So I decided to 'treat' myself to staying under the blankets today and watching my new movie Avatar. I almost felt guilty for not being productive but figured there were plenty of other days to do that. :)

Almost a housesitter

So I was supposed to start housesitting today. Well, the ppl were goin to take a trip to Greece and found out that all flights into Athens are cancelled until futher notice due to that stupid volcano plume that has half of Europe shut down. So they came back home but not before I had started packing. lol I am already all unpacked and am glad that they didnt get on their plane cuz they were supposed to fly into Frankfurt, Germany, but found out that they would have been re-routed mid-air! Ewww. Im disappointed I dont get to make extra money but am sooo glad they were able to save themselves a major nightmare! P.s. this volcano plume has displaced about 7 million ppl! (due to flights being cancelled)

Mmmm apple spice muffins! I had apples that were almost past their prime and figured i'd try my hand at apple muffins! and I accidentally found a recipe that is only 100 calories a muffin! (without the yummy strudel, I added that from a diff recipe...)

Last Song

Saw "The Last Song" with my bro's gf Jessica today. I read the book first so I was prepared with a travel pack of tissues cuz I knew it was going to make me cry. Such a good story/movie tho! Miley Cyrus did a good acting job and they cast the little brother PERFECTLY! :)

Movie Nite with Miss Meka

Manicure

so of course when i go get a manicure last saturday I pick the one nail color that I cant find in the stores! argh. and my nails were already chipping cuz of my job....*sigh* hence this pic cuz I had to settle for a diff color due to the fact I want my nails painted for longer than 2 days!

While I didnt take this picture today, I love the memories of the Farm that it brings back. And I've always associated tulips with spring and Easter. So that is how this pic ties into my 365 day journey. :)

The Sky was Crying

it was raining the day I took this picture. Notice the rainbow in the background. Today, my roomie's grandpa died. I thought that this pic fit my mood to a 't' since I felt like crying (in remembrance of losing my own grandpa back in Dec.) but love the fact that the rainbow is a promise of God's to us. Today I like to think that despite the fact the sky was crying that day, the rainbow promises that we will be able to smile again despite the pain. I love you roomie J.
